General Information

We can can supply installation guides on all our profiles for roof and wall applications. Please see our product pages. If there is anything specific then please contact us.

We specialise in manufacturing high-quality roofing and cladding products for installation by others.

We can supply data sheets on all our manufactured box, corrugated and tile effect profiles. If any of these are required then please contact us.

There are a few straightforward ways to work out your roof pitch. The most accurate method is to measure the rise over a known horizontal distance, which gives you the pitch as an angle or ratio.

If you want a quicker option, online pitch calculators or smartphone apps can do this for you. You simply enter the rise and run, or in some cases measure directly using your phone.

For on-site accuracy, a pitch finder or digital angle tool can be used to take a direct reading from the roof surface.

If you are unsure, it is always worth checking with your installer or supplier to make sure the correct pitch is used for the system being specified.

We offer an account facility for trade customers (subject to our terms and conditions) and also accept card payments.

We don’t offer a design service, but our experienced sales team is happy to discuss all the available options for your application.

We have a large fabrication facility that produces Galv Gutters, Trimline, and all types of flashing requirements

We manufacture three types of steel purlins to suit a variety of applications, along with all the necessary accessories.

We deliver using our own fleet of large articulated vehicles as well as smaller rigid vehicles

We offer a collection service free of charge from our offices in Leominster, but it must be booked in advance.

The standard lead time for composite panels is up to 3 weeks

We aim to deliver your single skin orders within 5-7 working days, depending on your regional delivery schedule. For more precise timing, feel free to get in touch with us!

There is no minimum order quantity, but please note that smaller orders may be subject to an additional charge.

Product Information

You certainly can. Rooflights or GRP(Glass reinforced polyester) are commonly installed alongside steel roof sheets. They are a great way of allowing natural daylight into your building.

We can produce purlins up to and exceeding 13 metres.
Please note that specialist vehciles are required for lengths over 13m which will carry additional costs

The shortest lengths are:

Box & Corrugated – 500mm

Pantile – 1000mm

The longest lengths depend on the profile:

Box profiles maximum length 12m

Corrugated maximum length 8m

Pantile maxium length 6m

Polyester is an econmical material and doesn’t carry a warranty.
However in our experience we anticipate a lifepsan in excess of 20 years in a benign envronment

The warrantied lifepsan of leathergain is 25 years in a non-coastal environment. With proper maintenance you can expect far longer in normal use.

Maintenance and Aftercare

We would recommend cleaning with plenty of clean water and non-abrasive detergent with a soft brush. Please ensure you do not clean the sheets after prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat as it may damage the coating.

Yes. Roofing and wall sheets are low maintenance, but they should be inspected at least once a year to keep them performing as expected.

Pay particular attention to fixings and laps, where debris can build up over time. Keeping these areas clear helps prevent water ingress and premature wear.

Failure to carry out basic maintenance can affect the performance of the system and may impact warranty cover.

Installation

Industry guidance recommends 6×5 mm class A buytl tape for side and end laps of Roofing sheets.

The fixings you will need will depend on your profile and supporting structure.
Please contact us for assitance specifc to your project.

If you need to join two or more roof sheets on a slope then they will need to end lap.
The lap must consist of at least 150mm onto the next sheet running down the slope, this ensures a good weathertight finish when combined with proper sealants.

The correct side lap is vital to ensure your roof is weathertight.
For box profile & Pantile a single corrugation is required; 14/3 needs one and a half.
