St. Michaels Hospice in Hereford was chosen as our Charity of the Year for 2026. As part of our fundraising efforts, we were proud to take part in the Sue Parry Sports Day by entering a Team TPP squad and sponsoring the event. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together as colleagues, champion an incredible local cause, and help raise funds for a charity that makes a real difference to people and families across our community.
The weather certainly kept everyone on their toes. While the sunshine was relentless, strong winds gave our gazebo an unexpected test of endurance. After a quick repair and plenty of teamwork, it was back in action for the rest of the event, a small victory that reflected the team’s determination and good spirits!
On the pitch, Team TPP gave an excellent account of themselves, playing two competitive matches with great teamwork, commitment and enthusiasm. Despite the challenging conditions, everyone gave their all, making it a fantastic day of sport and fundraising.
After our two matches, we were delighted to find ourselves at the top of the leaderboard – a fantastic result for Team TPP. More importantly, it was a brilliant day of fundraising, teamwork and friendly competition, and we’ll be looking to build on that performance when we return next year!
A huge thank you goes to Hayley from the sales team for coordinating Team TPP’s involvement and ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Organising the team and managing the logistics behind the scenes played a big part in making the day such a success.
We’re also grateful to Ray, who captured the highlights of the day with some fantastic photographs.
It was a brilliant day that showcased the power of teamwork, community spirit and supporting a worthwhile cause. We look forward to taking part in many more events like this in the future.
At TPP, we’re proud that our commitment extends beyond manufacturing high-quality steel roofing and cladding systems. Supporting charities such as St. Michael’s Hospice and taking part in community fundraising events reflects the values that underpin our business and the people who make it successful.
As one of the UK’s leading steel roofing and cladding manufacturers, we believe that investing in our local community is just as important as investing in our products, customers and employees. Events like the Sue Parry Sports Day strengthen teamwork, reinforce our company culture and demonstrate the positive impact we can make together.
