Eaves struts are available in three different sizes to suit the corresponding series of Thomas Panels and Profiles eaves beams, ensuring compatibility across the full structural range. Their design allows for angular adjustment, enabling the strut to be set accurately to match the roof pitch.
For each project, Thomas Panels and Profiles calculate the required strut length based on the roof angle and the distance between the eaves beam and the first purlin, ensuring correct fitment and performance.

Support for the First Upslope Purlin
The primary function of an eaves strut is to brace and support the first upslope purlin, helping control deflection and maintaining the correct geometry at the roof edge where loads and forces often concentrate.
