A complete structural steel and building envelope package for a large-scale development.

Project overview

Thomas Panels & Profiles supplied a complete structural steel and building envelope package for a large-scale development for Ben Pauling Racing. The scope included bespoke punched secondary steel, roof and wall profiles, integrated rooflights, rainwater systems, flashings and full fixings, delivered in phases to support the build programme.

What was Required?

The project required a coordinated steel and cladding solution capable of supporting large spans, providing high levels of natural daylight, and managing condensation effectively across the roof structure.

Bespoke C sections and Z purlins were punched to specification to align with the structural design and speed installation on site. The roof build-up combined TPP 1000-32 profiles with Anti-Con fleece and GRP rooflights to deliver a durable, low-maintenance solution with consistent daylighting. Walkable liner sheets were included where roof access was required. Finally, a comprehensive range of flashings and rainwater goods were manufactured to suit detailed junctions and interfaces, with colours and profiles matched across the scheme.
