The specification brought together two contrasting finishes, with Slate Blue Plastisol used for the curved sections and Rust PrintCoat for the main corrugated sheeting. Bespoke flashings were supplied alongside the sheets to complete the detailing and provide a coordinated roofing package.
A key requirement was the supply of curved corrugated sheets manufactured to a 2,900mm radius.
Six 2.738m curved sheets were specified in TPP Corrugated 14/3, manufactured from 0.7mm Slate Blue Plastisol coated steel. The curved sheets also incorporated anti-condensation fleece.
These were complemented by straight TPP Corrugated 14/3 sheets in Rust PrintCoat, including eight sheets at 5.210m and six at 4.300m, together with additional shorter Slate Blue sheets.
A range of bespoke flashings was also required, including curved barge flashings manufactured in Slate Blue to suit the curved sections of the roof. Further Slate Blue and Rust PrintCoat flashings were produced in a variety of dimensions and lengths to suit the project detailing.
The combination of curved corrugated sheets, contrasting finishes and purpose-made flashings provided a complete steel roofing package tailored to the project specification.
The 2,900mm radius curved Slate Blue sections provide a distinctive feature, while the Rust PrintCoat corrugated sheets introduce a contrasting finish. Bespoke flashings, including curved barge details, were manufactured to suit the sheet specification and complete the roof detailing.
