Crimp Curved Roofing Installation

Location:

Newtown

Completed:

2026

Over 200 precision crimp-curved sheets manufactured to specification to deliver a clean, uniform roof finish in Goosewing Grey.

Project overview

Working closely with the contractor, we supplied a complete roofing package of TPP 1000-32 profile sheets, precision crimp curved to specification, along with bespoke curved flashings and matching trims.

The project required tight tolerances, consistent colour finish, and accurate sequencing to ensure installation remained efficient on site. All sheets were produced in Goosewing Grey Plastisol, maintaining a uniform appearance across both curved and straight roof sections.

What was Required?

The scheme incorporated a significant volume of crimp curved sheets, each produced to individual specification. Radii direction and lengths varied across four distinct curved sheet types, requiring careful production planning and clear identification:

  • 10 sheets at 1.741m R-L (Spec A)
  • 63 sheets at 2.445m R-L (Spec B)
  • 73 sheets at 1.911m L-R (Spec C)
  • 73 sheets at 1.664m (Spec D)

In total, 219 sheets were crimp curved to specification.

Alongside the curved elements, the roof incorporated substantial straight sheet runs in 0.7mm and 0.5mm gauge TPP 1000-32, including lengths up to 7.300m. Flashings were manufactured in 0.7mm Plastisol to ensure durability and colour consistency, including bespoke curved flashings to match the roof geometry.

Accuracy was critical. Curved flashings (F1, F2 and F3) were formed to suit the sheet profiles precisely, avoiding on-site adaptation and maintaining the integrity of the finish.

The end result

The completed installation delivers a clean, professional roof finish with the visual consistency that Goosewing Grey Plastisol provides across both straight and curved elements.

By manufacturing the sheets pre-curved and producing flashings to suit exact site specifications, installation time was reduced and on-site adjustments were minimised.

The result is a structurally sound, visually uniform roofing system that reflects careful planning at production stage and precise coordination with the contractor.
